Growing Tips
Direct sow outdoors after the last frost in a full-sun location with well-drained soil. Sow seeds 1 inch deep and thin to 12–18 inches apart — sunflowers dislike transplanting. Water deeply but infrequently once established; they are drought-tolerant once roots are set. Pinch the growing tip when plants reach 12 inches tall to encourage branching and more blooms.
