I recently purchased the Vinca Minor Bowles 50-count flat from CF Hydroponics, and I couldn’t be happier! The plants arrived in excellent condition—healthy, vibrant, and well-packed. As shown in the pictures, they are adjusting beautifully to their new environment, settling in and showing strong growth.

Packaging was exceptional, making its way from your location to Texas. All of the plants were alive and doing well. Planted within a day. Our only potential problem is keeping the little critter, shown near the tree trunk, from eating the new shoots. For the most part the rabbit is staying away from the plant.

Great experience. Initially ordered 200 and was very pleased. Plants looked extremely healthy except for the few duds which was expected. The following week I ordered 200 more and again most looked great but I did notice that although I received the plants 2 days after ordering, this time the tiny pots were mostly dry, which was surprising but the plants were still green and healthy. I only mention this because if I had not opened the boxes and planted immediately, they may nor have looked that good 2 days later. If not for this minor oversight I would have given 5 stars. I'm sure I'll be ordering again from this nursery.

I chose this as a ground cover on a slope where it is difficult to mow and on this and another area where it has proven impossible to grow grass, despite spending thousands of dollars (twice) with a well-reputed local landscaping contractor. I started with 10 flats, ordered 2 more, then realized that I need yet another. The price is very fair, and the shipping is super-prompt, without inflating the UPS shipping charges like so many others do. I have it all planted, am watering it religiously until it is firmly established, and have high hopes for its success. What I paid for a total of 13 flats is a fraction of what I paid the landscaper for their unsuccessful efforts. If it works out, as I expect it will, I can be proud of having done it myself this time around, with a lot of manual labor and the help of a rototiller to prepare the planting area.

This is my third successful order for Vinca Minor. The plants were always in good condition. The reason I rated it 4, not 5, is that a few of the cardboard containers are so water saturated that they fall apart taking them out of the plastic box, and can't be used.
But I've reviewed most of the other options of online Vinca Minor and this is the best I've found. Also, these come in soil which is very important because most other online Vinca comes bare root (no soil), and no soil have a much lower survival rate.

Flats were well packed. Vinca plugs were all healthy -- 2 extra per flat were a nice bonus in case of damage to the 50. The only thought I would add is that it was not clear whether I was to remove the degradable peat cups before planting the vinca. The video instruction did not cover this. Otherwise, all went smoothly. Just what I had expected.

Every fall I buy vinca minor from you. I have two large hills and this summer we put a stream on one of them and, unfortunately, a number of my growing plants were destroyed, so I am replanting. I bought 150 and planted them over two days and here is a picture of one section with 50 just planted. The stone is my marker for where I will pick up in the spring.
